Azerbaijan's foreign minister tells the UN there is "de facto peace" with Armenia
What happened
Jeyhun Bayramov addressed the 81st session of the UN General Assembly: peace between the two countries has been established de facto, and since the Washington summit the agenda has begun to yield concrete economic results, with Baku lifting transit restrictions unilaterally. In the same speech he said the "remaining obstacle" must be removed to make the process irreversible.
